ViewGon sells YouTube promotion. You give us a public link and an order; we give you a campaign. This page describes exactly what that involves — in the same plain language as the rest of the product.

01What we collect

Account data: your name, email address and a hashed password. Passwords are stored as scrypt hashes with a per-account salt and are never recoverable, by us or anyone else.

Order data: the public YouTube link you submitted, the services and quantities you ordered, the price we calculated, the payment reference, and every status change the order goes through.

Public link data: the title, channel name, thumbnail and any public counts YouTube itself publishes for the link you gave us. This is the same information anyone visiting that page can see.

Product usage: which pages you open and which orders you build, used for finding broken flows. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

02What we never collect

We never ask you to connect a YouTube or Google account, and the product has no way to do so. There is no OAuth flow, no permission grant and no token — so there is nothing we could read from your account even if we wanted to.

We have no access to your private YouTube analytics: impressions, click-through rate, retention, revenue or subscriber attribution. Those are visible only to you, inside YouTube Studio.

We never receive your card number. Payment is completed on the payment provider's own page and we are told only whether it succeeded, plus the last four digits for your receipt.

We do not collect data about your viewers.

03Why we hold it

To run the campaign you paid for, to show you its status honestly, to issue receipts, and to answer support questions about a specific order.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

04Who else sees it

The promotion provider that delivers your campaign receives the public link and the quantities ordered — that is what it needs to run the placements. It does not receive your name, email or payment details.

The payment provider receives what it needs to take the payment. We receive its confirmation.

Infrastructure providers process data on our behalf under contract, and may not use it for anything else.

05How long we keep it

Order records, including the link and the quantities, are kept for as long as your account exists and then for the period tax and accounting rules require of us.

Public link snapshots are kept alongside the order they belong to, so an old order still describes what was actually bought after a title or thumbnail changes.

Delete your account and we remove your account and its order history, other than records we are legally required to retain. Orders still delivering are cancelled first.

06Your rights

You can export every order, line item, status change and receipt as JSON from Settings.

You can ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or to delete your account entirely.

If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

07Contact

Privacy questions go to the address on our contact page and are answered by a person, not a form response.
